On our way back down to Texas, we stopped in Chicago and spent a day there. The weather was so nice, warm and breezy, perfect for strolls. The kids loved all the sights, all the lights, and all the people. It was a good place to explore and I wish we had more time.Ezra thought it was hilarious that there was such a big bean in Chicago. He says no one can eat it.
For brunch, we went to Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe and the wait was 40 minutes! But as I do whenever I go to a new restaurant, I eyed the food on others’ plates and whatever the waiters carry by; everything looked worth the wait and we waited.I am such a foodie…in the sense that I like to EAT the food, not so much review it or whatever. I just like to eat. 😛
And of course we had to visit Chinatown too. 😛 And take pictures with our animal! Dragons are the luckiest creatures in lots of Asian cultures…AND…we were a family of three dragons before Elsa came along. But we love her too. Horses are cool. 🙂
Have a great weekend and enjoy some of the outside! ^_^
