If you have been following me, you may have caught the drift that I was taking a nursing refresher course. Basically, it’s like condensed nursing school to refresh the nurse who has taken a break and is preparing to re-enter the work field. So we do 1-2 weeks of in-class time and then 80-120 clinical hours. It’s required for nurses who have been out for at least four years (at least here in TX anyway). I’ve only been out around two years and is still doing occupational nursing but opted to take a refresher for my own confidence in returning to hospital bedside nursing care. It’s been great, especially all the updated information and being introduced to the new technologies that hospitals are instilling. Crazy how much can change in just 2-3 years. Wonder how much things have changed for those nurses in my class who have been out for 30+ years. One of the nurses said she was around when they practiced with no gloves….NO GLOVES! SCARY!
And I have been so lazy to pick out cute outfits lately so anything other than my PJs was an accomplishment. Therefore, these Loft tweed joggers have been on replay constantly. They were close to PJs but looked slightly more dressy due to the tweed and the back pockets which allowed their combination with my simple tees to pass as a nicer outfit other than the couch potato uniform that it actually is.
Pants: Loft petite drapey tweed joggers
Top: JCrew striped boatneck t-shirt
Shoes: Payless shoes (similar)
Watch: Fossil Small Perfect Boyfriend Three-Hand Stainless Steel Watch
Enjoy the week yall! 🙂
