There’s just something silencing and humbling in the presence of thunderstorms and harsh winds and then there’s something calming and reassuring in the steady drip of raindrops. So glad my babies share my love of rain. We were actually getting ready to drop off Ez at daycare when before I knew it, he was half way in puddles and drenched to his knees. As I was yelling for the husband to bring him a new pair of pants, El, due to no known cause, toppled and sat right in a puddle. Well…we ended up having a puddle jumping day instead. *sigh*

These hunter rain boots have been the best investments. I’ve had these for 2 years and have been wearing them whenever it rains or snows (just gotta wear thick socks in snow). My toes have been dry and warm all winter in WI and these past bi-polar rainy days in TX. My kids absolutely love them and the material is not too stiff for them so it was easy for them to run and jump all around without tripping or falling over much. My son can put them on himself so that was a plus too. If you’re interested, Jean from Extra Petite has an awesome review of these boots over on her blog.
Have a great weekend everyone! ^_^
