Welcome to Petite Hmong Mommy!
I’m Mai, a Mommy, wife, and RN. I love God, my family, food, and traveling. I am inspired by nature, architecture, and art. There’s something special about taking all that you love and creating something truly your own.
Mommy Life: I am a mother of two beautiful children. They are quite a handful but add so much love and joy to my life. I have days where I am just basking in the joys of motherhood and then days where I wish I can go through an entire meal without food on my shirt and in my hair. LOL.
Fashion Style: As a lover of cultural traditional wear, I want to incorporate as much of that as I can into my modern way of dressing. I want women to feel confident, strong, and capable, to always remember their roots and where they come from. I want their clothes and style to be a well-fitting representation of who they are and what they stand for. It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for but can actually be quite difficult for a short gal, so I hope to contribute to the online petite community as well. 😛 (For reference, I am slightly under 5 feet tall but let’s just round that to 5 feet. O_o I usually wear size 5 in shoes but may vary by 1/2 sizes depending on brands, and my measurements are 32-24-34 with a 28 inch leg inseam.)
Crafts: I love all things handmade as there is a special history to them. Each stitch, each dent, each stroke, each cut, is intentionally made by a skilled artisan. Making items by hand is indeed time-consuming, considering all the mass-produced items readily available, but it carries with it so much more value, so much more care, and so much more love!
